My wife and I were praying for a new Church when the Holy Spirit led our neighbor to invite us to Heritage. After the first Service we attended we knew that the Lord had answered that prayer. The Holy Spirit led a friend to invite us to a Prayer Meeting. Although we hesitated at first she kept inviting us until we finally accepted. At the meeting we realized God had given us a great desire and joy to take part in this corporate intercessory Prayer. My wife and I began regularly attending the weekly meetings- very blessed to involved in that Ministry at all - surprised when-after some time had passed- our Pastor asked us to lead the Ministry when it’s current Leaders moved away. To me Serving the Kingdom of God through prayer and petition; doing Spiritual warfare on behalf of the Church and people is the best part of the ministry. I love connecting to and encouraging people by praying with and for them. My wife and I enjoy cooking for family, loved ones, and those in need of hospitality and encouragement. Experiencing God’s Creation by hiking, exploring, birding, whale watching.
