The Heritage youth group had the privilege of partnering with YWAM Tribal Winds in Flagstaff, Arizona for a week this summer. We are so proud of our youth for working hard to serve others during their summer vacation. The days were hot and long but the kids worked with their whole heart to help the Navajo and Hopi Nations. They cleaned, painted, weeded, fixed a roof, installed toilets, dry farmed and ran a VBS. Relationships were built and the family of God was strengthened. A special thanks to Alex at YWAM for coordinating all the service opportunities and the Gerstners for helping the youth end the trip with a fun day on the lake! The youth can’t wait to go back in the future.
