Over Father's Day weekend, over 20 families retreated to the San Bernardino mountains to spend time together in fellowship at the Thousand Pines Christian Camp and Conference Center. Thousand Pines boasts not only some beautiful views of God's creation, but an assortment of fantastic activities for all ages! A pool, a rope obstacle course, a BB gun range, an archery course, an outdoor movie theater, a dining hall, a game room, a malt shop and coffee house, and a woodsy gathering hall provided tons of entertainment and nourishment for campers. There were also plenty of smaller spaces outdoors for small groups to enjoy time in more intimate gatherings. Several of the smallest campers conquered their fears and completed not only a 32 foot tall rock wall climb, but a 400 foot zipline down! Shared meals, a campfire with singing and s'mores, and growing closer to each other and our Savior - what a blessed weekend it was!
